The Tryst Pitlochry is a daycare service for the elderly based at the Pitlochry Church of Scotland premises. The service is open to individuals who are over 60 and have received a social work assessment. The service provides stimulating activities and social interaction in a caring environment. Clients are given the opportunity to make new friends, keep old hobbies alive and learn some new ones. Clients eat a freshly cooked lunch together. The service runs on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. Transport to and from the service can be arranged and clients generally attend from around 8.30 am to 4.00 pm. The service is run by Crossreach which is the arm of the Church of Scotland providing care and support services. |
