| Established in 1896, the allotment gardens on Moncrieffe Island have provided many years of leisure and fresh produce to the people of Perth throughout many generations. Now run by the Perth Working Men’s Garden Association, the site offers 58 full plots (each of around 250 square yards) and 13 half plots. There is currently a waiting list of around 20 people, the estimated wait for a plot is at least 4 years. |
